At Gulfstream, my primary focus as a Product Designer was within the Advanced Cabin R&D team, where I explored next-generation digital experiences for passengers and crew. I led the design of cabin technology solutions that seamlessly connected embedded displays, mobile devices, and wearables—enhancing everything from in-flight comfort controls to real-time flight information and interactive mapping experiences.
My work centered on creating intuitive, user-centered digital ecosystems that pushed the boundaries of what a connected cabin could be, turning complex aviation systems into simple, elegant interactions for users at 40,000 feet.

We set out to create a beautiful, intuitive, and interactive digital experience for both iOS and Android—an app designed to bring the entire journey to life.
Working alongside our moving map application on embedded displays, the My Flight app gives passengers and crew a real-time, interactive view of their flight. With familiar map gestures like pinch and zoom, users can explore 2D and 3D moving maps, track their location, and gain a deeper connection to the journey above the clouds.
Beyond maps, the app offers customizable world clocks, live flight details, destination weather, and points of interest—making it easy to explore, learn, and stay informed at every stage of the trip.
My Flight: Destination Weather
Imagine glancing at your device mid-flight and instantly knowing everything about your journey—from exactly where you are in the sky to what awaits you at your destination. That’s the experience we set out to create with the My Flight app for Gulfstream passengers and crew.
Designed with beautiful, intuitive interfaces for both iOS and Android, the app seamlessly pulls real-time weather data directly from the flight plan, giving passengers and flight attendants the insights they need to prepare before landing. Whether it’s checking the forecast to plan for umbrellas or sunglasses, or monitoring live flight information, My Flight keeps everyone in the loop with elegant visuals and easy-to-understand details.
But this isn’t just about data—it’s about enhancing the travel experience. The app combines weather, destination information, and real-time flight tracking into a single, interactive platform.

Traveling across time zones can be confusing, but with My Flight’s customizable world clocks, passengers stay effortlessly informed every step of the way.
This feature goes beyond simply telling time. It allows passengers to edit and personalize world clocks to track the locations that matter most—whether it’s home, the next destination, or a favorite city halfway around the world. The app automatically displays the local time for both the flight’s origin and destination, so travelers can plan their day, adjust their schedule, and anticipate arrival with confidence.
Designed with elegant visuals and an intuitive interface, this feature turns what used to be a simple utility into a beautifully integrated travel companion. No more guessing what time it is where you’re landing or coordinating calls across continents—the information is clear, accessible, and always up to date.
By pairing flight information, destination weather, and customizable time zones in one seamless platform, the My Flight app gives passengers more than just data—it provides peace of mind and a sense of control over their entire journey.

Using familiar touch gestures like pinch, zoom, and swipe, travelers can easily navigate the map, focus on the aircraft’s current location, and even explore the world below.
To keep things simple and accessible, we added dedicated zoom controls and ensured that essential flight details—like time remaining, altitude, and outside temperature—are always in view. Whether passengers are curious about their current position, planning for their destination, or just enjoying the view, the experience is designed to be as intuitive as it is informative.
The result is a dynamic, visually immersive feature that turns a routine flight into an interactive adventure for every passenger on board.
